Abercrombie & Fitch deny disability discrimination

I have just paid off :

£2393.21 (!)

worth of debt that I had racked up the last 12 months, namely my overdraft and a few store cards for the essentials like a new bed whilst I was moving house. Saying that I have just over £6,000 left in my savings account, a lot less than I would have liked or expected, and with the revelation that I now have to pay council tax (to the tune of £70) each month, I might be dipping into it even more.

An interesting revelation I came across today on the BBC news website, after my previous rantings about Abercrombie and Fitch, that a employee is sueing the company for disablity discrimination, after being banished to the stockroom after failing to adhere to the companies ‘Look Policy’.

Ms Dean claims she was handed a guidebook when she joined the company dictating everything from how employees should wear their hair to the length of their fingernails.

Just really confirms what I thought when you only see attractive people working there.

Another interesting little article I found via the Derren Brown Blog is a few photos of an interesting mass migration of giant sting-rays measuring up to 7ft (2.1 metres) from wing-tip to wing-tip. Photos are below, and a very interesting surreal site.
