Just another little post of a wonderful building I have come across in Padova, called the Teatro Anatomico, or the Anatomical Theatre, a popular feature in 16th century medical universities. This room pictured below was built in 1594 and was used to teach anatomy by way of human dissections. The ever increasing balconies were at a very steep angle, allowing all to see without getting a view of someone’s head for 3 hours.

Starting this blog was quite possibly one of the hardest decisions to make. It was not for the ease of technology or the already ill-advised purchase of the domain name that stopped me doing this, it was more simply a lack of creative art, or indeed an audience with which to present it.
